FAQ

How do you place puppies? Can I pick my puppy?

Puppies are placed by temperament, drive, preferred sex, and energy level. We do not allow puppies to be chosen by their new owners, but we will work with you to ensure your puppy is the right fit!

Where are you located?

We are located in Western Sydney, NSW, near Blacktown.

Can I breed from my puppy?

No. Your puppy is sold on a spay/neuter contract with Limited Registration from Dogs Australia (ANKC) unless agreed otherwise. Dogs on Limited Register can still compete in sports, but cannot show, and progeny will not be registered if bred.

Can I meet my puppy's parents?

We would love for you to meet your puppy's parents where possible! Our dogs would love nothing more than a cuddle and romp with a new friend at a local park.

Do you sell to interstate homes?

Absolutely! If we think you're the right fit for one of our puppies, we can arrange for air or road travel to transport your pup home.

When can I take my puppy home?

Legally, no puppy can be rehomed before 8 weeks old, but for the benefit of socialisation we choose to keep our puppies with their littermates until 9-10 weeks of age.

Can I visit the puppies/their property before 8 weeks old?

We can certainly arrange a puppy meeting from 6 weeks, however for the safety of myself, my dogs, and my litters, we do not allow visitors into our house. My puppies are whelped and raised inside the house, and I am happy to provide photos/videos of where they grow up, and arrange for a video call if you want!

How much are your puppies?

Our puppies are currently $3,000 AUD. We understand this can be a large upfront sum and are happy to discuss payment plans individually. If a payment plan is offered, the full amount (including any travel costs) will need to be cleared at least 3 business days before pup's departure.

Are my puppy's parents health tested?

Your puppies parents are health tested to or above recommended standards in Australia for the breed.

For Border Collies, the minimum health testing performed will be hips and elbows, and DNA panel. For Dobermanns, the minimum health testing performed will be DNA. This is what I require of the stud owner.

My personal breeding dogs undergo health testing comprising of ANKC CHED xrays of hips, elbows, shoulders, hocks, and DNA for the Border Collies, and ANKC CHED xrays of hips, elbows, spine, DNA, holter, and ECG for Dobermanns.

Can I choose the sex of my puppy?

We are happy to take into account interest in a specific sex pending temperament/structure at evaluation. Please keep in mind Dobermanns can be same sex aggressive, so we typically will not sell a puppy of the same sex to one you already have.
